Blade Shapes

Here my blade shapes are organized by size with the smallest at the top. Click the pictures to go to the page for that particular design.

The Cruising blade is my smallest, lightest and strongest blade. Good for most Creeking and Cruising in the right lengths.

This is also the shape for the Ducky Paddles

86 sq. in.

The Big Fun is a happy go lucky big Cruising/Creeking blade. Totally symmetrical with great swing weight.

89 sq. in.

The SO Terrik is a standard for Squirt Boating but also used for Cruising and Surfing. This articulated shape lets you flavor your strokes.

90 sq. in.

The Flo- is a big smooth feeling Cruising, Creeking, and Rodeo blade. It features a lot of grab at low stroke angles in shallow waters.

91-100 sq. in.

The Riot Styk is a substantial Rodeo blade that also applies well to Big Water Cruising and Surfing.  This articulated shape even applies to squirting although most squirt boaters would find it to be too big.

93 sq. in.

Canoe and Raft Paddles are super stout but also sweet feeling.  The full socks are virtually maintenance free.

110 sq. in.

Racing blades have slightly curved and very large blade shapes.  Check out the Wildwater, Slalom, and Canoe racing blade shapes.

112 and 116 sq. in.

Sea Kayaking blades are thin for a smooth feel and low wind resistence.

Striding Paddles are very big and strong.  These are the best!
